Motion therapy comprises exercises with our own body weight or other exercise equipment. Its practice is an important part of physiotherapy which clients carry out mainly at home. After going through examinations, the client can choose his own treatment path at our clinic. If you choose the path of physiotherapy, our physiotherapists will focus mainly on the accurate identification and selection of appropriate exercises for addressing the condition afflicting you. This involves a set of exercises and is not very demanding. Usually this means regularly practing at home a maxium of 3-4 exercises. The main emphasis is to practice the exercises correctly. It‘s essential that the client not practice the exercises mechanically without understanding the principles involved. The aim is to learn each exercise properly with all the detailed principles that the exercises aims to achieve. In subsequent therapy sessions the client learns more exerices for practicing or, with the help of a physiotherapist, makes corrections to the exercises he is already practing.
This type of treatment does not require frequent therapy sessions in our clinic, but given the fact that the client is often not under the constant supervision of a therapist, therapy tends to last longer. We use a variety of exercise equipmet that the client ofen has at home or purchases it at our clinic. These are the basic tools such as a fit ball, expander, overball, flexibar, but also more complex equipment such as bosu, pilates ring, benda, F-cylinder or REDCORD® Mini. At our clinic the client can buy all kinds of exercises equipment used in therapy. If the client chooses to exercise with the REDCORD system he might well exercise at home on his own as he applies one of the various therapy treatments. The exercises will be based on the fundamental principles REDCORD®.
